We now have 8 states that
recognize that LGBT Americans ought to have equal rights.
By the expected margin of 25-22, the
Maryland Senate has PASSED its marriage equality bill. Gov. Martin O'Malley has
pledged to make Maryland the EIGHTH state with same-sex marriage.
Thank you Maryland
We raise our glasses and toast to you
and welcome you into the list of civilized, egalitarian states.
