What to do? You want to read them all, to comment, to fantasize over the beautiful naked men?
There is no possible way you can do it all. I personally follow at the very least 150 blogs on a regular basis and it takes me a good 3 to 4 hours to do it. As is to be expected, when I am reading something in one of the blogs I get sidetracked because it reminded me of a situation or a point that needs expansion and I go off to write a post. I then get back and by this time a couple of dozen new posts have appeared on the blogs I had already perused.
If you are like most people, myself included…I really don’t have the time to make a comment on the blogs I follow or the things I read. My blog for example, gets an average of 5,000 hits a day and if I am lucky I may get two comments.
That being said, I don’t expect people to pick up my causes, to champion my ideas or embrace all of my thoughts…at best…I hope that some will read my political commentaries or anti-religious rants and draw some constructive criteria for themselves. I continue each day immersing myself in that muddy hole that is blogging, head in first up to my waist until I have to come back for air. To hope my blogs make a difference is wishful thinking, unrealistic and totally unattainable for my blog but I keep blogging…I will blog until I drop!
