MESSAGE TO FELLOW BLOGGERS WHO WANT TO STOP BLOGGING

Don’t do it…keep blogging ‘till you drop and spite them all

I know…it is a pain in the ass…why with all the irregularities that the Google platform has it becomes ever more difficult to blog. If you plan ahead for example and schedule a post when it comes out it is minus some photos and all screwed up…so you have to be very vigilant.

That of course is tedious and labor intensive and many of us get so frustrated that we want to stop blogging altogether.

Then there is the issue of lack of comments; I find that it is not incumbent on followers to make any comments…that is the ongoing norm and you have to live with it…the fact that you get few comments does not mean your blog is not being visited…Mine for example is already getting an average of 5,000 hits a day and I can remember when 100 hits per day was a big thing.

My blog’s second anniversary is coming up July 9^th and at first I worried that I would run out of material. Well, boys…I haven’t so far and I have been consistent, not ever having missed posting a single day in almost two years. Why? I think it is because there is always something going wrong, some injustice, some milestone…a comment here and there on current events and you never run out of things to say…at least I don’t.

I know I am not the best writer…considering that English is my second language…but I figure that even if I don’t say things elegantly, the idea, the opinion is what counts. Surely, there will be a lot of folks who disagree and that is exactly what we all aim to do…if you get someone to disagree and let you know…well, it means that your message got through to someone who needed to hear it.

Of course, I still do not…and I mean this emphatically…WILL NOT ACCEPT COMMMENTS FROM ANONYMOUS; because if they are too lazy to have a blog and are hiding behind their anonymity because they are ashamed of their convictions…then I am not going to provide them with a podium.
