One by one, all of our Constitutional rights have been systematically “touched upon negatively” by the Republican Teahadists.
In Tennessee, they are about to pass a law (SB49) that will prohibit the use of the word “GAY” in the public schools.
Two objectionable points here: The first one is that big government is meddling into our ability to communicate with one another by limiting free speech. The other is that the Republican-Teahadist right wingers are assuming that the word GAY has negative connotations…and according to them it does…it is an affront to their “VALUES” and according to their religion it is an “ABOMINATION”.
But we have been down that road before and saw their movie far too many times and I say:
WE NEED TO DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND, SAY
and look at them in the face while we say it…show our pride and just piss them off.
