When you tell a Fundamentalist-Evangelical that the world is older than 6,000 years it is like you are talking to a brick wall. This does not compute, it just doesn’t register in their realm of understanding and it is diametrically opposed to what they believe in…so they choose to ignore it. Hit them with facts, with data, with scientific evidence, show them fossilized specimens of fish and other animals and they still will stick their fingers in their ears and go: la-la-la-la. and then they will say: “YOU ARE GOING TO HELL”
There is an uncanny similarity with those fanatical religious wing-nuts and those who hold equally as absurd an ideology in politics. You show them how TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS doesn’t work, you give them charts and graphics, you flood them with data and information and they will also plug their ears and go: la-la-la-la…and then they will say: YOU ARE A SOCIALIST, LIBERAL TRAITOR.

This is also the case with the Birthers…you show them a birth certificate and it is not good enough, you show them the long version and it is not going to suffice either. Does Donald Trump really think that he precipitated the release of the President’s long version of his birth certificate? Only in the mind of an egocentric, pompous asshole can this be possible. He is so arrogant that he stated that he had accomplished what nobody else had been able to do before. What he is not taking into consideration is the harm he has brought to the GOP, the American people and ultimately himself. I doubt that anyone will be able to look at Donald Trump and not think “Ugh,YUK, FUCKING CLOWN”. And that is what Mr. Trump really has accomplished.
