I knew that sleaze would sooner or later hurt the middle class and the poor
Be it that his past record of corruption and cheating the government when he had these massive accusations of FRAUD as Maggie Mahar at the Century Foundation’s Health Beat blog reports that Richard Scott previously started the for-profit hospital chain in 1987 that later became the $23 billion Columbia/HCA. He was ousted from this post in 1997 after an FBI investigation of Columbia/HCA that led to 14 felony convictions and $1.7 billion in criminal and civil fines for Medicare fraud.
HOW IS GETTING BIG GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR LIVES WORKIN’ OUT FOR YA?
Get the government the hell out of the people's personal business ... and back into monitoring the people's urine where it belongs! Oh, and if you're embattled Florida governor Rick Scott, it's even better when your wife's company does the drug testing and rakes in the sweet taxpayer dollars:
Given Solantic’s role in that marketplace, critics are again asking whether Scott’s policy initiatives -- this time, requiring drug testing of state employees and welfare recipients -- are designed to benefit Scott’s bottom line. The Palm Beach Post reported in an exclusive story two weeks ago that while Scott divested his interest in Solantic in January, the controlling shares went to a trust in his wife’s name.
Well folks, Rick Scott is not just happy with having Floridians pissed off…he wants them to piss for him, pay for it and get his wife’s clinics to rake in the dough.
