ReplyDeleteI have a thing for horses. I think I love them more than dogs. It goes back to when I lived in Cuba in my grandfather's farm and I had my own horse which I loved more than anything. Pancho would take me to school and I let him lose in the adjacent field while I was in class. the animal knew exactly when the last bell rang and ignored all the other bells in between. He would come and wait for me by the gate.
ReplyDeleteAnd horses respond to caressing and love probably just as intense and as real as dogs do.
