IT IS RATHER SIMPLE: EXTENDING TAX CUTS WILL NOT WORK

THAT IS THE REASON WHY REPUBLICANS WANTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE

Let’s face it…Republicans are hypocrites, not dummies. They know perfectly well that the Bush tax cuts didn’t work…didn’t create jobs, didn’t stimulate the economy…quite the contrary. That is one of the reasons the nation was deprived of much needed revenue at a time when the man at the helm got us into two wars that had to be paid for.

Furthermore, because of all the systematic elimination of regulations Wall Street just went bananas with their greed and caused a collapse of the economic system.

First, by doing this extension of tax cuts it benefits their benefactors: the super rich. Second, because it gets our country deeper into debt; they can come back just before the 2012 elections and point out that President Obama got us deeper into debt.

Third, because it is a proven loser, they know it will not produce any jobs or give the economy the vigorous boost it so badly needs they are using it as a tool to further sabotage the Obama Presidency. Smart, these Republicans; but they are wicked and hypocrites and terribly unpatriotic.

Yes, unpatriotic because they have decimated the middle class in order to benefit the rich. Unpatriotic because they want President Obama to fail and they know that hurts America; but never mind…as long as he is a one term President. So, don’t come back later and claim that we have to cut our budget because the deficit is too big…wanting to eliminate Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid and even public education while the low tax rates remain in place for those who don’t need them and already have obscene amounts of dough.
