A SPECTACULAR LIGHTENING AND RAIN STORM
A thunderstorm is not particularly unusual here in South Florida…but this one was so spectacular that I had to go out to the porch and watch nature’s display of raw force.
A presage of the cooler weather to come and also it marks the end of the beach season. I live in a beach community and the summer brings an abundance of beautiful young men to our beach. It is wall to wall eye candy. Even if South Florida offers beach weather almost all year long, the crowds thin out and there is a considerable drop in beachgoers.
I always get a little down when I see Labor Day come around. I know it is the day everyone agrees that the summer is coming to an end. I look at the summer with nostalgia and forbodding…but here are a few pictures to celebrate the summer and the beach.
