IT IS A LOSE-LOSE SITUATION FOR OBAMA
Just think about it that as much as Obama has been accused of being pro-Muslim or even of being secretly a Muslim himself; if he was to come out now and squelch this asshole preacher in Florida who wants to burn the Koran; Obama would then feed the ultra-right fanatics and they would say: “see, he is protecting the Muslims”.
Mind you, President Obama has enough reason to have this guy arrested and prosecuted under the charges that he is inciting a riot and intentions to commit a hate crime. The government would be more than justified to do so. But then again, there would be those who would criticize such action as an infringement on the right of free speech.
Conversely, if Obama does nothing but try to convince the asshole pastor not to burn the Koran and he does it anyhow, there will be casualties to our troops and mass demonstrations, enough adverse publicity against America that some recruitment into Jihad cells would be made easier.
So that if this happens, then President Obama would be blamed anyhow; what a predicament to be in…it is a lose-lose situation.
It would help if some of these right-wingers would come out and condemn that asshole pastor…they would be saving American lives…mostly our service men and women in harm’s way. But no, people like Sarah Palin prove to be as recalcitrant as the asshole pastor himself…it is hard to shy away from the limelight…Let's hope "religious freedom" does not become an oxymoron, like "sensitive Conservative" or “Compassionate Conservative”. Sarah Palin has done a full lap around the racetrack, all over the 1st Amendment this week, first over the proposed NYC Islamic Center and the insensitivity of it; then about Dr. Laura and her freedom to speak insensitively.
According to Palin: freedom of Religion at ground zero? No way; too sensitive; but freedom to spew an N-word rant? Don't be so sensitive; "Don't retreat? Reload”
