I was raised Catholic but my parents are not devout nor have they ever tried to impose any religious ideas on me. My grandmother yes, she was the one who insisted on me going to church and that sort of thing. My grandfather for the most part imparted wisdom and advice and he was a believer that a man should only go to church 3 times in his life: when he got baptized, when he got married and when he died.

For the most part, if you analyze the Scriptures they are more or less following a pattern of advising how one should live a life that is worthwhile and some of the rules in them are nothing more than common sense. For example: “Thou shall not kill” is so redundant because we all know if I were to kill your brother, you would come back and kill my son.
If you take the Bible literally you would probably go crazy. There are so many inconsistencies and ambiguities that if you follow or embrace one you would be diametrically opposed to another just a few paragraphs down the book. Again, my advice is to follow common sense and not take what is written in the Scriptures literally or you will go nuts.
Back in Eagle Pass where I was born we had a saying: “If it ain’t broke, don’t break it or you have to pay for it” I think that the concept of sin is something that we have tried to fix without it being broken. Actually, I think we have broken it and now we must pay for it. 
The way I see it, most everything that has to do with sin is that we should refrain from excesses or that we should follow common sense. The rest is all sexual, mostly an attempt by religion to control our lives. Religion has gone too far if you ask me, to the extent that not only do they want to give you a guilt trip when it comes to sex but also have gone way beyond that and in some religions they have instituted what I consider pure unadulterated mutilation, both tor men and women; physical and mental.
It is true that in the old days when the whole population of the entire planet was but a couple of million people, the idea that procreation was paramount was a good one. If you think that one natural disaster, one little cataclysm or one plague could cause the whole human race to perish and be extinct then you can understand how important procreation was.
But that is no longer the case; in this little speck of dust floating about in space we already have more than 6 billion inhabitants and we can’t feed them all, there just simply isn’t enough room or enough food and water for all. So that now procreation is not important and birth control is.
Did it ever occur to anyone that perhaps homosexuality is nature’s, or the Creator’s own scheme to control population? Has anybody ever given any thought as to why the sexual act is so pleasurable? Whether it is with a heterosexual couple or one of the same sex, the call of the flesh is one that makes us seek sexual satisfaction.
So, if the Creator had no intentions of approving of homosexuality then he would not have made it so pleasurable. I know what you are going to say: That a woman giving birth is terribly painful and yet we all manage to keep getting them pregnant. But that is not a valid argument as birth pains may seem unbearable yet we have already found ways of making it more or less painless.
The sex act is arguably one of the most pleasurable of all of the human activities; it is just as pleasurable to give as to receive. Why would then the Creator make it so that it feels so good if he was not in approval? Why is it just as pleasurable to have anal intercourse, both to give and to receive? Why is oral sex so stimulating?
Screw those who say that it is meant as a temptation or to test our resolve, to put our faith to a test. That is hogwash and the majority of human beings are designed to enjoy sex in one way or another. So I say to you: Keep on fucking, it is good, it is good for you and God could not possibly think any less of you because you are a fucker; nor does God think you are better or worthy, perhaps morally superior because you stick your dick in a dirty vagina.

Please! Will somebody explain to me why man accepts Old Testament theology about sin, while man is not a part of the Jewish religion?! There is no sin! Just try to prove it's existence.....good luck! And in case you want to use the "law", St Paul said that if you are in Christ Jesus, the law is no longer applicable to you! So dickos, prove the existence of sin.....I dare you!! YOU WILL LOSE!!

On the other hand, if you don't appreciate this form of control then wait until the population of this world reaches 100 billion! Man is just too fucking stupid to know better.....find a bitch, fuck her and in a 100 years there will be no room to move and no air to breathe as all the trees will be gone!....."Scotty, beam me up!!".

ReplyDeleteThat is in my opinion what the world will look like unless we institute some serious population controls, if we are too stupid to do them on our own we may need governments to do it for us.
Fuck the Catholic Church and their stance against birth control and abortion. Overpopulation and squandering our resources is by far more immoral.

What is sin? That's too big a question to answer! Funny that you should bring up the bible. First, we all know that obeying all of Mosaic Law(10 commandments...etc) is impossible...ask a person NOT to do something, there's a very good chance the Law will be ignored! Second, no one has ever followed anything Jesus said....just look at "christian" history(all of it up to modern day). Where's the justice and love for our fellow man. Do they forgive? Hell, no way! How can a people believe that God forgives them of their sins while NOT forgiving their fellow man! Could that God given forgiveness be all fake? You have to wonder how they can continue to hate while their "saviour" taught the opposite! When I was "saved"(but came to my senses not too long after), I went to church with people that on the surface seemed like saints("Jesus loves you and so do I"....until they found out I was gay and out of the closet). Once I got to know them, I found them to be ravenous wolves who care little but for their own free ticket to glory! They snickered at anyone who disagreed with their viewpoints: Anglicans, Catholics, Baptists....etc. These people believed they were spirit filled! If that's the best the spirit can do, we're all doomed! It is NOT God's fault that all fundamentalists are ALL assholes. The problem lies with man and his determination to seek out a cosmic truth....and then nuke his neighbour for not believing as he does(history proves this beyond any shadow of a doubt!).
ReplyDeleteHas anybody noticed in recent years the switch from "having faith in God" to simply "belief" or "believe". Faith it would seem is finally DEAD(St Paul and Jesus would have kittens!). Now all you have to do is believe, which now liquidates the "good ole'" saying: "faith without works is dead". How convenient!
Be warned: This system of belief has no foundation anywhere in the bible except in the book of Deuteronomy. And if you see them picking up stones because you have tattoos and you have eaten shrimp.....RUN for the hills or the nearest bomb shelter! The Anti-Christ(what I call ALL christians) is and has been in the world for over 1700 years! Their "salvaltion"(actually it's more like salivation) is entirely phony and once armed they WILL carry out their revenge, just as the catholic church once did.....very scary!
