100,000 HITS

It is now 100,000 hits…and counting. Since I started this blog on July 10, 2009. It has been six months almost to the day. I want to thank all the followers and also those who have provided invaluable support. Words of encouragement and constructive criticism have been a key for me to have developed this blog and gotten as far as I have.

I must admit that I am impressed. When I look at the little gadget of the counter and the world that rotates showing the visitors at that particular time, I am just swept away. I see that I have visitors from remote places like Indonesia and Malaysia. Isolated spots of the globe like the Seychelles in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Even in the middle of Africa, Togo comes to mind. There are some deep inside the Asian continent as well as South America. Brazil seems to be a very active area. I don’t know if it is because I speak Portuguese and some write me comments from there and I answer in their native language. Portugal also is one of my biggest sources of followers and I have to thank both the Brazilians and the Portuguese.
