The fucking Mormon’s Articles of Faith
Thirteen statements, written by the Prophet Joseph Smith, outlining some of the basic teachings and ordinances of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The basic beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are summed up in 13 simple statements penned by Joseph Smith as a response to frequent queries on the teachings and doctrines of the Church. These statements are now known as the Articles of Faith? Of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
They are:
1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost?
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement? of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances? of the Gospel? Are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance? third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands? For the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy?, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority?, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles?, prophets, pastors, teachers?, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy?, revelation?, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible? to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon? to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel? and in the restoration? of the Ten Tribes; that Zion? (The New Jerusalem) will be built upon this the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping? Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
One by one, I will take them and expose them for what they are: a hoax, a cruel hoax.
1-They believe in God, the son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. No one knows God. Not one person can prove the existence or lack thereof. Those who claim to know it only do it from faith and faith is an emotion based on conjecture and self-convincing.
2-Mormon’s believe that man will be punished for his own sins and not for Adam’s transgressions. Now, isn’t that refreshing? A departure from the Church’s own version of scaring people into not sinning, and believing.
3-By atonement and believing you will be “saved” and by obeying the laws. Now, isn’t that convenient? But a very cruel joke, to lie to people and promise them salvation when they don’t even know if it is something that happens after you die. It is possibly the cruelest joke ever perpetrated against humanity. And as far as obeying the laws, it goes without saying that all religions want a docile following, one who will obey and not even question anything.
4-Principles of the Gospel: Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Repentance and Baptism and then the “Laying of Hands”. Again, this is a bunch of crap. To have faith in Jesus Christ is like to have faith in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus. Baptism is just a symbolic piece of crap that the person has to endure as a rite of passage or the obtainment of a goal. It is supposed to make the person baptized feel included, they are now part of the group, and they belong and have an identity. As far as the Laying of hands is concerned it sounds like hokie-pokie voodoo bullshit. Cure can only be obtained through the practice of medicine and no one person has the ability to “lay hands” on anyone and they get cured. They are deluding themselves if they believe this bullshit.
5- The part that a man must be called of God, by prophecy? and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority?, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof. This is just a way to assert the authority of the Church over its followers and to motivate them to go out and proselytize.
6- They believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles? prophets, pastors, teachers?, evangelists, and so forth. This is nothing more and nothing less than the pecking order applied to their religious structure. There has to be followers and there has to be leaders. Obviously, those on the top of the feeding chain will be in a more secure and enviable position, usually one of wealth and privilege.
7- They believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy? revelation?, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth. Maybe the mushrooms are working, but how convenient it is that when polygamy was highly rejected; the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints conveniently had a “revelation” as they did when criticism got too hot over their exclusion of black people; then the Bishop had another dream or revelation, whatever and now the blacks can join the church. Before that they were only allowed in Mormon homes to do the cleaning. Something similar is about to happen with gays, when the heat gets too much for the fucking Mormons you will see them changing their tune about homosexuality. The only problem is that thousands and thousands of their youth are already dead from suicides because they were not accepted as gay.
8-They believe the Bible? To be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; they also believe the Book of Mormon? To be the word of God.
The Bible as far as it is translated correctly? Really? Who the fuck knows which is the right translation of the Bible and hasn’t anybody told these clowns that the Scriptures have suffered so many alterations and additions, as well as subtractions as to make it a very inaccurate document; bear in mind that Constantine alone destroyed a lot of the scriptures that didn’t suit him or his aims... We can’t even rely on it to be a historical document. Most of the Bible is fabricated as is The Book of Mormon.
Even the Bible has its very murky origins, however there are in existence remnants of earlier written materials like the Dead Sea Scrolls that are housed in museums, some of which are in Israel. But the book of Mormon? Where the fuck are the tablets that supposedly were handed to Joseph Smith the prophet by the angel Moroni?
9- They believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
Again here is the expectancy of some kind of interface with something as abstract as is God. They have personified God and made it a myth that there is some kind of interface between it and us humans. The truth as I see it is that we don’t use our intelligence to its fullest yet and that we are very primitive and awkward beings who live in ignorance in a world mired with misery and catastrophic events. It is only our instinct of self preservation that has enabled mankind to survive this long in spite of religion and all the wars that it has engendered.
The real and most important issue is that mankind only uses a very small portion of his brain and the intelligence or lack thereof is obviously absent. Perhaps with the passing of 100,000 years, if man can survive global warming, a hit from some astral body or a nuclear holocaust, we might be able to understand some of the more enigmatic questions plaguing us; like where do we come from or who created all this. And if there is a God, who created him?
10. They believe in the literal gathering of Israel? And in the restoration? Of the Ten Tribes; that Zion? (The New Jerusalem) will be built upon this the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
Now, isn’t that a twisting of the known myths? It is an extension of a supposed chain of events and a very empty promise that only expands on that cruel hoax of eternal salvation or reaching paradisiacal glory. What is that all about? What do they mean? Does that mean that I am going to be in a place without conflict and receive constant stimulation? Can I eat? Can I drink? Can I smoke in paradise? Can I have my cock sucked? Will the likes of Jerry Falwell or George Bush accompany me in that imaginary heaven? Because if that is the case I would much rather go to hell and be free of the fucking bastards and the Mormons as well.
11. They claim the privilege of worshiping? Almighty God according to the dictates of their own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may. Yet this is a very hollow point since they are obsessed with proselytizing and converting other people to their religion, claiming that it is the true and only religion sanctified by God.
But if you really analyze it, a superior being, an omnipotent and all-knowing God would have no need or even want for us to worship him/it. That concept is so absurd to me.
12. They believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
Right, and by doing this, they gain the trust and support of those governing society, even if they are cruel dictators or George W. Bush. How convenient. But if Mormons were really the standard bearers of justice and righteousness they would not submit to anyone who is cruel and violates the rights of others. If they were righteous, Mormons would not violate the rights of others, like for instance gay people.
13. They believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, they may say that they follow the admonition of Paul—they believe all things, they hope all things, they have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, they seek after these things.
What a bunch of crap, being honest? And they are pushing this fucking Book of Mormon that is so fake and obviously fabricated? Benevolent and virtuous? I have yet to see Mormons help the poor and doing any good in society, on the contrary, they take, and their tithing is a disgrace, particularly from those who are not the more affluent members of their religion. The rest is just crap also because they want to be above the fray, to claim a certain esoteric superiority.
What a bunch of crap…GET A LIFE YOU FUCKING MORMONS, STOP HURTING GAY PEOPLE. YOU SEEM TO THINK YOU ARE SUPERIOR OR BETTER IN THE EYES OF GOD BECAUSE YOU STICK YOUR DICK IN A DIRTY CUNT.
Jesse Ventura comments on Maine’s vote
"You can't put a civil rights issue on the ballot and let the people decide. You have to have elected officials who have courage to make the right decision. If you left it up to the people, we'd have slavery, depending on how you worded it." - Former Minnesota governor and pro wrestler Jesse Ventura, responding to Maine's vote on CNN last night.
