La Gran Dama Eloi wants to go dancing

My mother, La Gran Dama Eloi, has a sense of humor. At age 94 she is still lively and full of energy. Today I took her for a physical at the clinic and she had to fill out some papers. She wears no glasses, has all of her teeth. They gave her a clean bill of health and the doctor who saw her, a handsome man in his sixties, with great admiration told her: “madam, if you weren’t my patient, I would invite you to go dancing” My mother responded immediately: “You don’t have to tell anybody I am your patient”.

But when she was filling out the papers, the little box where it asks SEX, she wrote: “At my age, it is not important any more” which I thought was terribly funny. As a matter of fact, after she turned in the damn thing, a little time went by and as we waited in the waiting area we heard this outburst of laughter from the receptionist
